Security

Last updated: June 4, 2026

Security is foundational to Postfeeds. Because you trust us to act on your behalf across the social platforms you connect, we treat the protection of your credentials and content as our highest priority. This page explains the measures we take and how to report a concern.

1. Protecting your platform credentials

  • Encrypted at rest. Access and refresh tokens for every connected platform are encrypted before they are stored, and are only ever decrypted to perform an action you initiate.
  • Encrypted in transit. All traffic to and from Postfeeds is served over TLS (HTTPS). We do not transmit credentials over unencrypted channels.
  • Least privilege. We request only the OAuth scopes required for the features you use, and never ask for broader access than necessary.

2. Authentication & access

  • Your Postfeeds account is protected by industry-standard authentication.
  • Internal access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • Disconnecting a platform immediately revokes the stored authorization and deletes the associated tokens.

3. Infrastructure

Postfeeds runs on reputable cloud infrastructure providers that maintain recognized security and compliance certifications. We rely on managed, regularly patched services and apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the platform.

4. Data minimization & retention

We collect only the data needed to operate the service, and we retain it only for as long as your account is active or as required to provide the service. For full detail on what we collect and how to delete it, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Reporting a vulnerability

We welcome reports from security researchers. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in Postfeeds, please email us at support@postfeeds.com with details and steps to reproduce. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure. We will not pursue action against researchers who report in good faith and avoid privacy violations, data destruction, and service disruption.

6. Staying informed

If a security incident affects your data, we will notify affected users and take appropriate steps as required by applicable law. Material changes to our security practices will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
